Marketing Campaign
In May 2022, following the success of the Tourism Leadership Rural Fund, a second funding application was made to develop the Stories Start Here Marketing Campaign from VisitScotland’s Destination and Sector Marketing Fund.
Feedback & Impacts
Produced a reach of 600,000+; 1.8M total impressions and 14,500+ clicks on our main channels Facebook and Instagram.
Influencers trips in their first month generated 300K+ views and enabled further collaboration with 35 additional tourism businesses.
The Stories Start Here landing page produced over 7,000 specific visits with an average engagement of 1.5 mins per visit in the months of July and August.

In June 2022 the "Beautiful South" was captured in six-page article that provides a dozen tales to inspire and entice visitors to the South of Scotland.

Throughout June and July a wide range of stories and literary links were celebrated in a campaign that included paid posts on Facebook and Instagram.

Books and Quills.
Working with two storyled influencers we provided itineraries and inspiration. The first trip saw Sanne from BooksandQuills followed a four day trail that took in the Border Ballads, Hogg and Scott.
